I’m gonna start this off by saying I haven’t gotten new sneakers since literally like four years ago. I mean sure, did I go overboard? Maybe a little, but until they come in, I don’t know if I’m going to return any. Now you may be wondering, what’s this little disclaimer about, if it can even be called that. Well, I just splurged and bought four pairs of shoes (And that may or may not be after I bought two other pairs). Okay, let’s start with this pair of under armor shoes that I bought. They came in the mail so fast, like I wasn’t expecting them for another two days when they came. They were the “Women’s UA Charged Impulse 2 Knit Running Shoes” in Mod Gray, Sea Mist, and White. They looked alright, but not really my vibe. I was going to keep them since they were just for running and walking, and they were relatively a good price. However, a few days later Nike had a sale. And in this sale is when it all went down, and when I say went down, I do mean the numbers in my bank account. I saw a pair of the “Nike Revolution 5 Women’s Road” Running Shoes. I liked the over all look and reviews of the shoes in contrast to the UA shoes I just bought. So I am currently in the process of returning the Under Armor shoes, and I already bought the Nike Runners. They are scheduled to arrive sometime in the next few days. Okay, that will be all for the running shoes, but I did mention that I bought more.
I feel like I have a lot of yellow items in my closet and have been loving orange more and more. Thus I bought white and orange shoes. The moment I saw them, I fell in love with them. My only hope for these shoes, actually for all the shoes I ordered, is that I like them on my feet and in person as much as I love how they look on my laptop screen. Anyways, I bought the white and orange Nike Air Max 90 SE shoes, those were my most expensive purchase out of all the shoes and with taxes and everything, they were about $90.
But then, I have been needing white shoes. White shoes really were supposed to be the only thing I got. I saw these ones that were on sale, love at first sight. But, of course, they were sold out in my size. Still on the hunt, I found another pair I really love. However, they are not all leather. So we’ll see how I like them in person. The thing is that I am really bad at taking care of shoes. I love to say that shoes should look a little lived in and that creased shoes are not a bad thing. That line of reasoning, however, may stem from my own laziness. I really hope I like these shoes, because I do need a plain white pair of shoes and I want these white Nike Air Max SC to be it. Maybe, I’ll even give them a little extra care and attention so that they don’t look abandoned and ugly after a few wears.
The very last pair of shoes I was never supposed to get in the first place. But when I scrolled past them, I couldn’t look back. They literally have the perfect shade of pink. If I have to return the pink and white shoes, I might just cry. I got the pink and white Nike Air Max Bolt shoes. I really just hope that they don’t disappoint.
Anyways, thanks for sticking around and letting me bounce my thoughts off of your thoughts. Just thought this was a fun life update.
Ta-ta for now,
Savvy
