We took the subway and a boat to Smorgasbord. It had some really nice sights, and I’m not sure if I just like boats or if the ride was actually very enjoyable. I got to see the WELCOME sign on the old Brooklyn Bethel that is still up! I’ll add more pictures in a few days or so, maybe when I get my laptop. Don’t wait around though because they aren’t even good pictures. But when we got off the boat, the stop was right around the corner from smorgasbord. So the journey from our hotel to eat was delightful and pretty short.

Food consumed:
Lumpia and baboy (bbq pork)
Wanted to try their Filipino food. Was good but average, could definitely get better in the Bay Area. Lumpia was delicious, bbq pork was good but didn’t really stand out. Comfortable flavors but regular. If someone was to try Filipino food for first time, would take them here. It’s a good introduction to the cuisine.

Food consumed:
Crawfish Mac n cheese
This was delightful. Wish I could eat this on the regular. Chosen cheese was delicious, not too sharp or over powering in anyway. Good mix of crawfish to Mac and cheese. Wasn’t too much or too out there. Would eat again… like once a week if I could.

9/10

Drink consumed:
Lavender vanilla lychee lemonade
Was delightful. Would drink again, could’ve been colder (had more ice, in smaller cubes, but that’s getting a little too particular)
Score:
9/10
I also ate this like lobster sandwich which was absolutely delicious but mom got it and I don’t know where from or what it’s really called. Bread was amazing and like crispy but fluffy. It was perfect texture for what was contained in the sand which. I was already full when I ate it so I don’t have much notes. I had a couple of amazing bites out of it. A not so great pic is below:
